I don't think cuddling is inherently sexual. I am low key hoping for a platonic cuddle buddy because it's so healing and necessary to have nonsexual intimacy and to feel safe. (edited)

I don't think cuddling is inherently sexual at all. It's so weird to me that touch of any sort is often mistaken as sexual or an entry point to welcome sexual actions. Normalize platonic touching. I need a hug. I think many people do.

I feel the same way!! I dont like that affect always has to go "somewhere" as though feeling safe and cared about isn't enough.

No it is not, there is something comforting in having someone close to you. Animals 'cuddle' all the time to provide a sense of security and and comfort to each other.

I love Platonic cuddles, it helps reduce stress!

Humm considering for most that closeness isn't something they just do with people I can see why it be taken as a sign to something else plus if your love language is physical touch then 100% see it leading sexual

I don't think it is no. I personally cuddle to get close to my special person as it makes me feel cozy, safe and loved. My cats also cuddle for warmth and comfort.

I lean more towards being asexual so Give me all the cuddles.

Depends on who you're cuddling. That's like asking if holding hands or even eating a sandwich is sexual. You holding your child? I'd hope it's not sexual. You holding a female? You might as well plant that kiss bc she's into you.

Honestly ive never seen cuddling as sexual to begin with. Just as a way to hold someone you care about and just have some peace of mind and comfort in life.

Snuggle can be innocent

No a simple cuddle can be just that it’s a I care kind of thing not a sexual thing

I'd think it'd have to do with how you cuddle and the circumstance around it.
