Finding my person
When I'm honest about my conditions, people back away. They see someone lesser than because I can't do all the 'normal' activities. I used to love hiking. Unfortunately, my body can't support that activity anymore (among some others). I'm learning about myself and the world around me still. I want to grow and learn with my forever person. I want to welcome kids into the world down the road too. Don't be a stranger, feel free to message/comment :)

I feel this. I have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, as well as borderline personality disorder. Thankfully my hubby-chan is extremely supportive! However, It's nearly impossible to make friends.

I've always found it better to be up front about my own issues rather than waste anyone's time (mine or their's) by getting to know them and then have them run the other way. I've had some weird reactions over the years, especially on dating sites, but it is part of your life, no need to hide it. Good luck to you.

I have had a few hits to the head, and I've still been having some symptoms after these injuries. I feel like the biggest challenge about trying to heal from this is... read more

Not knowing is scary
I've recently become disabled. My legs began to lose motor function exponentially over the course of a month. Doctors found that I had L4-S1 herniated discs, with damage normally seen in car accidents or in the elderly. I'm 2 months out from surgery, but my legs still barely move or feel. We're... read more
