I prefer the older JRPG's, Xenogears being the absolute best I've played but I have big love for the 'Tales of' series. Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 on the PS2 are a couple of my favourites also.

2 games I really love are the Dissidia games (duodecim) and Jet Set Radio, I haven't gamed much lately but I am currently going through Alice Madness returns, Dangaronpa, Bug Fables and the BlazBlue franchise and they all have unique charm.

KH I'd get back into if I had the budget to get it on PC set aside but not right now I used to be crazy about the games back in the day, mainly 358/2, KH2and birth by sleep. Also enjoyed dream eaters in DDD a lot cuz they're cute.
