Realizing why Donald never healed.
Might just be my theory but the reason why Donald never heals is cause it uses the most MP compared to the majority of spells in Kingdom Hearts. He saved a lot of MP specifically for one moment. To completely and utterly show up every mage/magic user from every Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts game ever.

I always set him to attack and stocked him with healing items. He still rarely healed Sora, though, mostly himself and whoever else you had with you. I just resigned myself to be the primary healer of the group, and sometimes come in with big combos. (The Tinkerbell summon in the first game helped with that a lot, at least during boss battles.)
