There are times I've wished to forget painful and horrible events but In a way they're necessary for your growth as a person, or something like that. Growing, or learning from experiences define how, and what you are now. =^-^=

My brain stays on recording and there is not delete button programmed in it.  Age will do that  for us all don't you worry about that.

If they're bad enough your brain already does that for you, so I'd say in those outlier cases where it's essentially trauma without the memory anyway then that'd be a cool psychotherapy.

I wish I could actually remember them with succinct detail. My memory is very hazy of my past and I genuinely believe that makes people forget where they came from and WHY they must improve as a person. I feel as though I've made a lot of mistakes that derive from not remembering.
