Man is alone. In the universe unknown. All on our own, we look for meaning from sky to stone. But it’s not there, I swear purpose is rare. This life is a nightmare in the middle of nowhere I despair. It seems like our only uses warfare. It’s unfair that we’re so isolated, located in a system vacated. We’ve been alone for so long we’ve hallucinated. We make up gods that do not exist but I insist that we desist, we must resist these farces that persist. We are alone, but we still look longingly into the stars to tell us who and why we are, we have to stop looking to pulsars and quasars to explain our scars. Mankind is a species defined by loneliness, we live aimless, anxious, isolated from each other by our own design. Always saying we’re fine but always worried about our waistline, the new headline, that new deadline, what we heard through the grapevine and we decline any attempt to help because we’re fine. But even though it’s companionship that we reject, that’s what we really want, to connect. But we can’t. For the love of god, we can’t. Because there’s a disconnect. We reject the idea of respect for each other. We infect the feeling of deject in each other. We neglect each other when we should protect each other. Were so deprived of companionship that we hallucinate gods that want a relationship because it’s easier to do that than form a kinship with people. We look for companionship in creatures we bred to love us, and we act like that’s sane? It’s inane, I get that we’re collectively in pain, but selective breeding isn’t our domain, it’s inhumane to do what we do to animals. It’s mechanical, it’s cruel and cold. But their love is fools gold. It’s not real, it was created, it’s just a lie we fabricated. I get so frustrated to see them elated because mankind has dominated, desecrated, and castrated everything good in this world. We are so alone, we can’t connect to each other in a way that matters any hope that we have ends up shattered when we can’t find a love that’s fulfilling. We’re unwilling to admit that we’ve deluded ourself into thinking there’s meaning. I can’t help from screaming when I think that We’re just animals that became too smart, and now we have pain in our heart because we know we aren’t apart of anything. We’re so alone. Like Buddha says “life is suffering.” Understanding and wondering only bring pain, the knowledge we obtain is done in vain when nothing is to gain. Consciousness is misery, inquiry brings injury. There is no victory in uncovering mystery when we’re all living bitterly. Mankind is isolated and alone. Alone when surrounded by people who yearn for affection but we all lack direction we all need correction or we stand to lose what microscopic connection we have left. Mankind is alone.
