I've been on Boo for about 3 weeks. Very hesitant on joining, and still very skeptical. I joined because after I ended a 5 year one-sided relationship with a cinderblock, that feeling of loneliness started creeping up. As someone who's somewhat of an introvert with not much free time on his hands, I figured I'd give a dating app that's NOT TINDER a shot, hoping it's not a popularity contest. So far, out of many many many of the girls I thought I'd get along with, only 2 responded to me so far. Wish they were in the same state. As for my hobbies, well, ya can check my profile for my interests, but primarily, memes, gaming, youtube, and anime/manga/manhwa, etc.

I'll start, after many bad relationships... I've become something of a shut in & refrain from expectations because I believe the lead only to disappointment. I live in Los Angeles California & have very few friends. I pass the time everyday scrolling through profiles in hopes of meeting someone & sharing a good conversation. I play gaming apps & binge shows I've watched over the years on infinite loop. I stopped having dreams or goals because I found that I can't motivate myself without someone to work towards it for & that someone just isn't me but it could be anyone here & I do love myself but I want to be loved by someone else too... lately I do this routine where every few days or even twice a week at times, I frequent a restaurant/bar a few blocks away from where I live. I go there and depending on the time of day ask for food at happy hour in the afternoon or a single alcoholic drink in the evening. I sit there & I'm left alone to my thoughts & I contemplate the universe & the people I've met in it. I stay there for about 1-2 hours at a time wondering if I'll ever be approached by someone who feels just as empty, sad, or lonely as I am & think what's wrong with licking each other's wounds? My current goal in life is to meet someone I don't have to be afraid of sharing all of myself with. I don't want anyone here to think that all I am is a desperate & despairing guy, I just have a hard time making friends & finding love the way I used to (edited)
