We have such a confusing mind. one hour we feel decent, the next hour we have no hope. We don’t want to feel like a total drag so we hold off on interacting with new people and acquaintances during these times. But it’s lonely and confusing. It’s hard to know we constantly need reassurance. People are confusing as well. They act friendly and supportive then suddenly remove us when things are going fine. we can never know everything about why things happen, but our mind can’t help but fill in the blanks based on past experiences that weren’t positive. It’s so hard to trust people. It’s scary to love someone when you aren’t sure they reciprocate. Sometimes they don’t know how they feel. That’s okay, but it makes us feel stupid for asking. We just keep trying. This hard work has to amount to something.
