Do you feel the pandemic is pretty much over where you live?

In San Diego, California where I live it seems like everyone has decided covid is endemic since vaccinated people don't have much to worry from omicron. They've given up on the unvaccinated. People are acting like the pandemic is pretty much over. What about your region or country? Is the pandemic winding down, still in full swing, or feel mostly over?

I live in Pittsburgh PA, it's probably half and half. Most companies still require masking. I'm vaccinated and still wear a mask cause I don't trust ppl. Schools here officially started optional masking (which I disagree with).

It's hard for me to say right now. The city of Charlottesville itself has been (in my opinion) pretty good about taking safety precautions through the pandemic. There are still places that require masks, and people seem to be willing to adjust their precautions up and down as the conditions change. Though I have also been hearing people start discussing your very question. We have a good vaccination rate, and, while I was out of state during most of omicron, I think the consensus was that our health care system didn't have any problems during that surge. So I think people are thinking of what the "new normal" is going to be. And it seems like there isn't yet a consensus on that question. I'm in that process myself. At the same time, Charlottesville is a small college town in a rural area. So, you go 10 minutes in any direction, and the consensus has been that the pandemic was never really a thing and haven't thought about it since May 2021. It's a really strange mix around here. But that's true about a lot of things, not just the pandemic.

I want to say 60% no it isn't. Even though the mask mandate has been lifted since March 12th here in the PNW, there's still bunches of people wearing masks and practicing social distancing. A lot of businesses can also still require people to wear masks under their discretion. But the feeling of it wanting to be over will probably be most evident come June.

There was no pandemic, just a global exercise of mass control. A waste of time and resources. Everything was done perfectly wrong from the moment it was announced as a global threat. Ask anyone working in the field whether vaccinating masses in the spike of covid was necessary. It was a rude violation of basic science. Propaganda made most people scared and very compliant. To the point of utter stupidity.
