Dracul (2018) - a novel, not a movie!

Horror and historical fiction. Two of my favourite genres are combined in Dracul, a novel written by Bram Stoker's great-grandnephew Dacre Stoker and some guy named J. D. Barker. Our protagonist is Bram Stoker himself, and most of the characters inhabiting the novel were either his close relatives… read more

Film #125 The Nightingale (2018)

Historical Psychological Drama Unlike Kill Bill, a quest for vengeance in a different way. A much more realistic depiction where hurts and losses are real and too deep to heal. Evil is pure with no compassion or principle. Many will find scenes in this film very disturbing and painful to watch. My… (edited) read more

Witcher 3: Remastered feels good

I've had my share of game crashes and bug, but honestly still have the greatest time playing the witcher 3 again. Last time I played was nearly 10 years ago, back in 2018. Been having an absolutely blast with this past week! Also Triss superiority

Just a redraw ive done! 2018 vs 2025

Just a redraw I felt like doing of one of my favorite pieces. This drawing was inspired by a song I grew to enjoy by a smaller song artist. This song isn't widely known but if you picked up on the reference, good for you! ✨️

World Cup

Germany's poor performance in the 2018, 2022 and 2026 World Cups. More drama than quality of play. Sorry so say, as a Fan of German team since I was kid.

I am so amazed by people who are totally into technology, and always update their phone every time the newest version is released. Like after a year of using Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, they trade-in that phone and upgrade it to galaxy S26 ultra.

--- Meanwhile, there are also people like me, who aren't into technology that much, and don't even think about changing their phones unless it's totally damaged. Been using my Redmi note 8 pro since 2018, got it repaired zillion times (and it still works). My best friend and my mom bought me a new… read more

Comfortable with being single

I've been single since 2018. Was in a relationship for 7 years and we just grew apart. Over the years, I'm slowly becoming more comfortable with being single. I've surrounded myself with great people, but it just seems more and more difficult to meet someone with same values. I'm kinda sad with… read more

Washington State's Mental Healthcare Disaster

Lately I’ve been noticing something in the mental-health job market here in Western Washington, and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t imagining it. After digging deeper, it turns out the trend is real. In 2018 the Average UK salary was about £30,000 a year

In 1959 it was around £10,000. Adjusted for inflation, how much would you be earning in in 1959 if you made the same as in 2018? About £900 a year in 1959. So real wages have gone down by 90%. But of course, you can’t afford anything because you are “lazy”, not because of the politicans or the… read more
