Picked Up One Of These Lottery Bitcoin Miners

Its been fun to tinker with an asic bitcoin miner again, and makes a nice desk clock ornament. Have not tried messing with other pools or coin types yet.

big difficulty jump today from 20 to 155. nice. 40k block templates and 129 of the 32 bit shares. pumped 723,000 to the million hash.

since reconnecting it to the other ps4 usb slot it has hashed out 5 of the 32 bit shares. maybe the wifi range extender im getting might bump the kh up just a tiny bit more as this whole setup is located in the basement but the router is upstairs. New Toy!

Picked up one of these guys for about $80. Running at about 1.2TH/s which is just about good enough/bare minimum to keep up with current difficulty. had to reset

i got a wifi signal booster so i had to reset my mini miner. apparently it hooks up wayyyyy faster if theres a signal booster but it probably doesn’t help being in the basement and the router is upstairs.

Testing Solar Efficiency For Mining

Got a nice solar panel coming tomorrow. If my calculations are correct, while partially under the influence, i can easily run 2.5TH/sec daytime, and 6hrs on this battery. on 2 days 7 hours and 56 minutes of mining. so far 59,727 million hashes (god just say billion. why is it like that?) 3,380 block templates, 7.0888 difficulty passed, and just 14 32 bit shares so far.

i got a wifi signal booster so to connect this bad boy to the booster i had to reset it. at least this time because it was connecting to somethig thats boosting the signal it was able to connect in a minute instead of 30 or an hour.

i haven’t updated for a while but since my last update the difficulty went to 11 for a few days before hitting 13 sometime while i was gone today. 22,778 block templates 13.494 difficulty 76 of the 32 bit shares. come on little miner. make me like 180,000 or whatever is. (edited)
