Tell me how to chat with someone for the first time .I need your advice.

I'm tired of starting my correspondence with "Hi, how are you? Can we get to know each other?" I feel like it's become as cliché as fu.. Please advise me. (edited)

Is there still such thing as a love letter anymore?

Since way back when love letter were the way to express how someone felt about someone they cared about. Marriage proposals were written on letters. I asked God, for lack of a better term, to remind me if I ever done something worthy. Then came across these old email correspondence from when I was in Syria. Getting a father's daughter out of the conflict zone. They both now live safe without threat in Belgium. Forever hold them dear.
