The snow is melting in Colorado

There's still a lot at higher elevations, but here's one of many National Forest trails that is now spontaneously rideable. Please don't make huge ruts in the muddy trails! (edited)

How to park a dirt bike on the beach

Clutch in. Throttle max. Clutch out. Done. Don't worry; the hole disappears in less than a day with the wind and the tide. The Pacific Ocean is directly behind the photographer (me). Oregon.

Hold at the top of the dune until traffic clears

Oregon Coast between Florence & Coos Bay. You gotta keep this Honda 125cc pinned so it stays in the powerband - but there's even a second powerband. If you've never ridden sand, then please make it a bucket list item! Higher cc bikes can do it with knobbies instead of paddle tires, but you'll be… read more

Have you ever ridden a KLR, on a trail, without any sort of shock absorber?

It's hilarious. You need to be a confident rider otherwise the spring will just spring you off or your laughter will send you into a tree. However - if you are confident and have a sense of humor, this KLR just keeps bouncing forever and it's hilarious. It's like riding a sofa through the forest. I… read more

2026 Evoque Electric Dirt Bike

Recently picked up a 2026 Evoque Raider 72V 40ah dirt bike.. ITS INSANE eco mode on this bike is almost too much for technical tighter trails, its a smaller 160lbs bike but its verrry nimble. When Blazing a Trail Fails

KTM 505 SXF. I was trying to help establish one of the first MX trails on my property. This 505 exposed how thick the topsoil layer is in the forest. I'm gonna have to shovel...

Absolutely enjoyed that 4 day weekend of riding

Lap times only lowering on the Boynton Beach woods course. Pretty sure not a woman in 40 miles who rides bike. Fellas, we can dream.

Monarch Crest, CO

From Monarch Pass to the Mt. Ouray trailhead (and back) on a KX125. I was very courteous to MTB riders, stopped the engine and leaned over as far as possible when I met any of them. This is probably all snowbound now. Arg. (edited)

Winters coming!

Can't say I'm entirely enthusiastic about winter coming. But ya know, who can afford to winter in Arizona these days. 🤣 Who likes to just take a seat and contemplate life and the choices you made to get to that exact spot? (edited)
