My perspective of Emotional intelligence

When you become upset, frustrated, or sad... Your partner's role is: ☑️ To listen without making assumptions. ☑️ Not to judge anger as a sign of rejection. ☑️ To acknowledge that you need help. ☑️ To understand that you're vulnerable and in need of a hug. ☑️ To give up ego, wait for you to cool… read more

Overthinking other people’s choices is one of the fastest ways to disconnect from your own power. When the mind keeps circling around “them” and “others,” it forgets who’s really in control: you. Protecting energy means letting go of comparison, obsession, and loops that go nowhere—so alignment,… read more

me time

a little me-time well spent. 🖌️🤍 this is my favorite way to recharge and disconnect for a bit. What’s your go-to activity when you need some time to yourself?

Summer is officially dead, and honestly? Good.

Everyone’s posting nostalgic photos and crying about the weather changing. Meanwhile, my internal landscape right now is basically burnt-out trees and ground turned to ash. Done pretending I'm looking for "good vibes" or a casual coffee date. I want someone who isn't afraid of the quiet, can… read more

Sooo many wonderful people out here ready for love and settling down, yet so many people not finding love or even a decent date. I wonder where the disconnect is 🧐

The disconnect between Anxious and Avoidant

I occasionally see shade thrown at people who have avoidant tendencies, usually by those who have anxious attachment tendencies. So allow me to put some words to it in hopes of promoting more understanding. Avoidant attachment doesn’t mean someone is bad at relationships or doesn’t want them, it… read more

Nothing more frustrating than calling a place and not getting a response.

And that music they play while you're waiting? Convinced its just there to make you even more mad. 😒😩 And then after waiting 20mins....they disconnect you so you have to start all over again. 🤣 (edited)

Modern Dating.

the modern dating scene often feels like a race to the finish line, where hookup culture has become the default setting. it can be a massive disconnect when one person is looking for a shallow physical connection, while the other is trying to build something rooted in faith and long-term… read more

Just hear me out for a second...

What if the crazy truth is that none of us have ever actually lived in the world we think we’re in? Like… what if every memory we have, every person we’ve ever met, every sunrise, every screw up, all of it, is just a super high-resolution simulation being beamed straight into our minds? Imagine… read more

Have you ever been in a relationship where you planned a future together, only to slowly feel a disconnect where conversations faded, but the love never turned into hate?

This is for me, myself & I.

I think there's nothing worst that telling someone you care and love them when it's not true. It's crazy how some people can just emotionally disconnect after treating you like "the one". Makes me wonder if I'm too much. But , yes I am too much. Not a side or second plate, a full meal.

I apologise if I’ve come across the wrong way. I don’t hold any grudge against anyone who may be upset or choose to block me.

I may not always respond, especially to repetitive or low-effort questions, simply because I don’t always have the time or energy. I prefer conversations that involve meaningful exchange and mutual understanding, though I’m fine with casual topics within reason. We all connect with many people… read more

People ask what are you looking for?

Id rather know what your past actions and choices show you truly choose and want. People lie when they open their mouths the majority of the time. But you show others and need to admit to yourself that the partners you chose and the things you chose to do are what you are truly looking for. And… (edited) read more

Present but Gone: The Reality of Emotional Disconnection

Emotional disconnect is real, and it doesn’t come from nowhere. It doesn’t show up because someone is cold, heartless, or incapable of love. It forms after too much pain with no repair. Too many broken promises. Too much being treated like an option instead of a human. At first, people try to… read more

Lack of confidence in only one field.

The “Bare Minimum” Toxicity

In Modern relationships, we’ve come to view small gestures as “bare minimum” which can become a quiet source of negativity And ungratefulness. Doing more deep diving (Dissociation Edition)

Dissociation is very... Interesting the more I dive into it. It's not a disorder... until the survival mechanism "turns" into a disorder. Dissociation is a mechanism for survival. Chill

Its not always easy to disconnect from it all. That's why one must get lost in order to find themselves. Go on a trip or two. Or make a space for yourself. No devices. No distractions. Just you and the world.

Are expectations hurting you?

1. What expectation(s) do you have for your partner, which you feel are often met with unwillingness or failure? 2. Is this expectation(s) based on your partner being a man/woman, or is it something that you have decided based on self reflection of your own needs? 3. What expectation(s) have… read more

Think!

From what I’ve been seeing in this group over time, there’s a noticeable disconnect between men and women. Passion…..

✍️ Passion is not measured by how fast you move when conditions are perfect. It is measured by your refusal to disconnect from a goal when progress becomes difficult.
