Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas?

Question

Been playing fallout 4 for almost that past week and a bit of fallout 3 so been wondering should I bother finishing fallout 3 or go straight into fallout new Vegas

NEW VEGAS ! 
it's made by Obsidian so while it still has many of the original Fallout content and lore - it adds whole new developed systems to the game if you so choose, with the survival aspect in needing food and water, the stealing of other factions outfits for stealth, and even reputation for these factions.. 
It is a cut above the other fallout games though it does reference a few of the other games like 1, 2 and 3, so wanting every game is an inevitability lol 
New Vegas also has gambling and I know the system for roulette so even if you set luck to 1 you have a good chance to still win some caps 
Also the start you actually rise from the shallow grave you get buried in after being shot in the head like you are THE wastelands bad ass .. that's how the game opens lol so it's not like it's a spoiler 😅

Highly recommend finishing 3 and then moving on to New Vegas. Both are fantastic games! I might also be biased because 3 is my personal favorite.
