Heres an old photo I have of the dumbbell nebula, its a planetary nebula that features a nice blue hue with some hydrogen red touches on it

This was a photo I took a couple years back using a SkyWatcher Evoguide50ed scope. This one was a couple of nights worth of exposures stacked together, pulling out the hydrogen red and some of the milkyway gases

This blue fire phenomenon only found in two places in the world. At Ijen crater, East Java, Indonesia and Danakil Depression, Ethiopia. But the largest area is in Indonesia. Ijen Crater is an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, famous for its large, highly acidic, turquoise-green crater lake… (edited) read more
known for her work with SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). It poetically highlights that humans are made of recycled stellar matter. primarily hydrogen and helium from the Big Bang, that has evolved over billions of years to achieve consciousness and self awareness.

Every second in the Sun, about 600 million tons of hydrogen are converted into helium, releasing an enormous amount of energy that makes life on Earth possible

It is both strange and astonishing that atoms represent only 5% of the mass of the entire observable universe. Even stranger is that the trillions of atoms that make up us humans and everything else on Earth—such as hydrogen, helium, oxygen, carbon, and a little calcium—are the very same elements… (edited) read more

Captured with my ZWO S30 Pro with built-in filter.

Taken with my new ZWO Seestar S30 Pro. In the top-left corner is NGC 2024, the Flame Nebula, Barnard 33, the Horsehead Nebula, and IC 434, the background nebula of Hydrogen behind the Horsehead Nebula. In the bottom-right is Messier 42, the Orion Nebula, and above that is Sh 2-279, the Running Man… read more

Every atom heavier than hydrogen in your body was forged inside exploding stars billions of years ago.

We had a hydrogen bubble fire experiment at the science lab at Discovery Lab a few months ago, and I was able to get a video of myself getting my hands set on fire. It was the second time I'd gotten to do that in my life, the first being in my 10th grade chemistry class a few months before my… (edited) read more
The Milky way is lots of stars, really a whole lot of them, you'd be counting for hours. Actually there is some nebula in there too, see the little purple bits, that's hydrogen gas, ionised and glowing

Also called NGC2070, region H ll (formed of inonized hydrogen gas) that is in the Large Magellanic Cloud

Self-sufficient carbon-based lifeform seeking meaningful naps, belly rubs, and genuine connection with like-minded souls. The presented lifeform is composed of carbon molecules bonded with oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur — often referred to as CBS (carbon-based lifeform). This… read more

Do you think they call it "hydrating" because water has 2 hydrogen atoms in it? (edited)
