For me, the worst is phone calls. I have to plan that entire conversation and it’s alternatives before I make a call. Every time. Please don’t ask me to call a lot of people.

I'm a writer and I've been doing events to promote my books, I have to "put on a mask," to talk to other people, which is super difficult since I'm very introverted.

Losing a lot of opportunities...

Wondering how to keep friends because I can't continue conversations to save my life. If I do, I don't know how to keep it going, or start a new one without feeling like an idiot or like I'm seeking attention.

I am borderline Intro Extro. Leaning slightly more to intro. I have a social battery and can easily interact with people, but I find it hard to connect with others regarding meaningful things. Not everyone wants to drop into a deep conversation.

Err, the endless cycle of online dating and self - sabotage for fear of actually having to meet someone in public? On the plus side, I save a tonne on bills sitting in dark rooms over-thinking stuff :D

As for me, the biggest problem is my lack of experience in communication with friends, mainly females. And the worst is that you can't learn these from books, because there aren't strict rules. Solving math equations (I love competitive stuff) all day long is easier than making new connections

I definitely relate to the exhaustion thing. I feel like my biggest issue is always feeling like the people I am with don't really like me or want me to talk to them. I know that is mostly my anxiety but I still get that feeling. I am very hard on myself but I am trying to think more positive.

I sometimes feel like a burden when I'm talking to people even with friends and family.

So I'm one of those introverts that come off as charismatic for like no good reason so it's always weird to people when I just completely "turn off" on them...which I do often. 😅 (edited)

Huh 😃 extraverts have other problem - being stuck without communication will make you go crazy. I see it as charge up mechanism. Intravests need time alone to charge up, extraverts need people to charge. Any side not receiving what they need, they will feel misrable.

Over thinking any social interaction, including ones that haven't even happened.

People think I don't speak English or think I'm a mute. I struggle to talk to people if I don't know them.

Trying to make people understand I NEED a lot of alone time. Nothing personal, it's just how I am 🙃

Look at it this way - mental exhaustion means your brain is upgrading itself! Keep practicing, it will get better! * As for my introvert problem - it is difficult for me to explain why I want things to go the way I do. Like dude, I'd have to tell you half my life story to explain why!!!

Overthinking everything, especially relating to girls i like. And overthinking pretty much else

Having a need to connect with people but being unable to get out and meet them. glade apps like this exist to help combat that.
