Avatar: The Last Airbender - Unquestionable honor

Iroh: “No. A new person must take the throne. Someone with a pure heart and unquestionable honor. That person should be you, Prince Zuko.” Zuko: “Unquestionable honor? But I’ve made so many mistakes.” Iroh: “Yes, you have. You struggled and suffered, but you always followed your own path.”

Iroh actors are the literal goat

I wish I could go back in time and meet the OG VA of Uncle Iroh, I bet he was as good a guy as Greg Baldwin is, maybe better. All I know? Mako was a damn legend

Uncle Iroh Wisdom:

Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. True humility is the only antidote to shame.

Most inspiring anime character?

Mine is pretty basic, but out of every anime Iroh from Avatar is just the one character that sticks out in my head the most. His kindness, generosity, love, and his philosophy are all just solid. He speaks to my inner soul. "Perfection And Power Are Overrated. I Think You Are Very Wise To Choose… read more

I don't remember Iroh saying this but I approve 🤣👌

Brain random

My dad is watching The Mandelorian and whenever Paul Sun-Hyung Lee appears on the tv my brain instantly goes "IT'S APPA" (His role in Kim's Convenience) or "UNCLE IROH!" (His role in the ATLA live action)

The dinner of a lifetime!

If you could have dinner with any person in history, fictional character, or celebrity (and there would be no language barrier, consequences, or risk to your safety), who would you choose and why? Specifically, what would you ask or tell them? There are a lot of people I've always wanted to meet.… read more

Inktober prompt(binoculars)

"You must never give into despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road, and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength" ~Uncle Iroh 😌🙌🏾

Is it sad that I've used anime characters to survive this far in life.

Like many characters I've watched and loved became my father figures or big brother when I needed someone through my 16years of truama. My therapist watches anime and she named off a few characters that I reminded her of and we were both crying together even though it's her job it felt genuine. I… read more
