uhmm...this hustle is real.
...so lv been talking to some guy here,trying to know each other and all that,so yesterday he told me that he was looking for someone to give him emotional support and am like,, wow sounds like a mummy's boy,are u?.guess what 🤔,l woke up to a very long paragraph of him saying he doesn't want to talk to me anymore coz l disrespected his mother.up to now l cant believe people can easily get moody. Am l a bad person,how lam sapposed to know someone if l don't ask them questions,is it just me or am just overthinking things, how do u ladies here handle men.and to the guys here,what exactly ruined everything

You won't probably like my comment as you seem to only like the ones that go your way (I don't understand why you ask for outside opinions then...) but you had the toxic behavior here: he showed himself vulnerable and you literally called him mommy boy instead of exploring respectfully his need to see if it matches what you can offer/handle. Your comment was completely immature and toxic. The good new is that knowing so, you can learn to communicate better and be more mindful with how you interact with others.

Men don't have a lot of experience being vulnerable & tend to be more fragile when opening up as a result. But it also seems you pegged them right. Everyone needs emotional support, but those explicitly searching for it are generally looking to receive more than give since they lack the ability to give it to themselves. & those types can turn into a man-child energy vampire if they don't actually want to deal with their core traumas, since patriarchy enables & even trains men to dump all their emotional labor onto women. So it's hard to say from just what you mentioned but seems they realized they couldn't set up an imbalanced emotional exchange, since calling someone a momma's boy doesn't disrespect the mom it emmasculates the man lol & when people reach like that it's 'cause they got caught & don't wanna admit it.

Peoples reaction normally tell you more about them than it tell you about yourself . you had the reaction to ask the question . he overreacted either because it is true or because he had some issue regarding to other situation that happened before you :) . either case or even if i am wrong it is not your problem lol
