Reassured people who are able to have uncomfortable conversations with you would have no reason to hide their happiness too.

Regardless whether it's a man or a women unfortunately we will never truly know the answer to this question, ultimately the only thing we can do is TRUST your feelings and your partner, love is the ultimate trust excise anyone will ever take it's always going to be a risk, the only true advice I can give is just enjoy the time you spend with each enjoy the little things life haves to offer, don't worry about what ifs and what might happen ect ect because negative minds bring negative thoughts.

Goddammit I wish I knew. Last time I thought so... I got myself burned. Badly. 3 years of building trust and respect gone. I know that I'm at fault. I definitely made my mistakes, and I failed to judge the level of value and potential she placed on me. I was just convenient, until I wasn't.

I personally think for me, its when I can just mess around and make jokes at each other, a friendly sort of back and forth banter haha, cursed jokes and the like. I feel safe emotionally opening up at that point as it feels like if she's accepted and embraces that part of me to the point where we can just mess around with no hard feelings, I can be vulnerable without being judged. Same vice versa for some women I assume.

I know she loves me when it's clear she's paying attention to the small details of our relationship. Remembering things that I've said and give them importance. I never saw being in love as being emotionally safe. Caring about someone that much makes it hurt so much worse if things land up going wrong. I do think if their brand of love is protective and honest I can settle in better and be more comfortable.

I used to "think" she loved me, cause she made all those promises and we will have a family babies a future so on and fort, all of sudden she just wants a break. Lol.
