How do you know when things won't work out anymore, when the words that have caused wounds can't be healed by touch, a gift, or a kind word? How do you know when the battle to keep your relationship is lost and that the white flag should be raised? This is what plagues my mind, and taints my soul. I am feel broken, bleeding from hurtful words that make me question my worth. I want peace I don't want to fight, all I need is that our children are not caught in the crossfire. You say that I lied about who I was and what I stood for. So I cannot change and grow as a person as a man? My thoughts, feelings, goals and desires for the future must stay the same or align with yours? You act like I beat you black and blue, when you know even an anger I will never lay hands on you. All I do is work, sleep, eat, and repeat. I have no friends I don't know what a vacation is and you are not my peace you take it from me. Since you wish to be apart I will acquiesce. You must learn to struggle unfortunately by opening Pandora's Box I wish you well. As father I must my best for our children and I shall. So I guess it's time to walk away, and not look back at the ruins that was our relationship. (edited)
