Have I been ruined?
I'm 39... almost 40... My fiancée in my mid 20's used my cancer as a reason to be unfaithful and sleep around. The girlfriend I had in my early 30's literally told me that playing computer games was more important to her than our relationship. My next girlfriend... well... I came home from work one day, all of her stuff was gone, and half of my stuff was gone as well... Now I'm hitting 40... and I have very little ability to trust women... Have I been ruined and damaged beyond repair? Should I just give up on finding a partner?

That sounds rough. To give perspective from a person who has dated both men and women, almost every man I've dated has cheated in some form yet the women were the most faithful. I think everyone has different experiences. I'd focus on improving your trust with women or yourself first before entering another relationship. Cheating hurts and takes time to heal and you deserve to heal my friend
