So tomorrow marks 1 year since the day my mom died. She loved games, and one of her favorite games is a dominoes game called Mexican train. I'm honor of her, I've spent this week casting a very special Mexican train set in her favorite color (purple). What makes it extra special is that I mixed… read more

I have seen makers insert flowers inside a resin pour, in a spherical mold. Has anyone tried it? Is it better to use resin and catalyst or photopolymer?

Everything in the resin is made from Persian Jewel Flowers! The jellyfish are their autumn seed pods, and the kelp is a mix of their petals and leaves Learning for next time: secure the kelp to the bottom so it doesn’t spread out and float randomly (edited)

I made this lamp. It was a prototype; the LEDs are fully encased. I still like it though! Anyone else wanna show off their resin craft? :)

2 1/2 hours of face paint later…. This was super fun but definitely a challenge, I wanna get a resin gem to stick on instead of painting it. Also I used hot glue for the tears and honestly I might consider using em more often for makeup looks.

Made some more resin rings for my market on the 18th.

Nothing compares to the healing power of forest bathing in autumn. Step into the woods and breathe in the rich, comforting scent of fresh pine resin mixed with damp earth and fallen leaves. It is nature's own aromatherapy, perfect for grounding your mind and clearing your senses.

I’m always out here looking up a Spruce tree 🌲 with a hand resting on her bark… And I often flow along after with her earthly scented resin sticking to my hand… As I tell her that I love her…she asks me to share our moments together for all who may be inspired to become best friends with a tree… read more

I love to make statues, gifts and figures with my 3D resin printer. Comment which ones are your favorites and what you would like to see! (edited)

This is epoxy resin, and I still can't figure bubbles out

I don't know how well you can see it, but I recently got pink dice with rabbits inside! They feel nice. I'm used to resin, as opposed to plastic, but they make a nice noise too.

Maybe wood... unless I can figure out how to do gradient resin colors. Or both. Probably both. (edited)

During lockdown I got into collecting art toys and found that I enjoyed making customs and casting in resin. Here’s some of what kept me from going stir crazy over those crazy months in 2020

The late summer sun signals the start of the annual hop harvest. Towering trellises are heavy with vibrant green vines, ready to be stripped of their aromatic cones. The air is thick with the scent of resin and citrus as the hops are picked. While most are dried for year-round brewing, this… read more

Started a new passion of mine, UV resin molds these are my first attempts

Not a jewelry maker, but I love seeing simple creative processes. Something about turning basic materials into something beautiful is really satisfying to watch.
I got into resin crafts recently, and I feel in love!

Creating is one of the things I love most

First time trying out resin. I like it
It's a joy to see a vision become reality. I take home pallets and scraps of wood/metal, break them down, and turn them into art. One of my latest was turning some junk wood into a useable cup. It's fully sealed and can handle hot coffee with the help of some food safe high temp resin.

A fun little project I made a little while ago. I modeled some dice in Blender to look like different parts of a skeleton and used a resin printer to make them.

Papa scorch and some pulse pilots in UV resin. Haven't printed anything for like a week and I still haven't hammered out character cards, but adapting the trench crusade system was easy enough. Got a day off today so who knows.
