Hey guys, I see a lot of comments mostly from guys, which are non sequiturs. These are just "hi" or something to that effect or just don't follow the original message & don't seem to lead anywhere, no comments, maybe a like if someone is being generous...but it doesn't seem to add any value to… read more

It is well

This song is my favorite. For the past two years, I've been trying to teach myself violin through YouTube, and I wanted to play "It is well" on this violin. Although I made many mistakes in my notes and my playing technique was far from perfect, I'm very happy that I've finally realized my dream of… read more

The "I promise I won't burn the kitchen down" test.

Standard dating profile: "I like traveling and food." Reality: Figuring out rolling technique at midnight because a craving hit hard. Bonus points if you know a better spot for ingredients around here, or if you're willing to be the official taste-tester for the next batch. What are you cooking… read more

Intrusive thoughts

Ever think to yourself and think everything could be considered a manipulation technique it just depends on the persons mental state and how persuasive some one can be.

Would you like to see?

Imagine you could visit other people's dreams while you are asleep. Would you like to visit dreams of your friends or family? Maybe someone else you know? Why or why not? Would you welcome others into your own dreams? Maybe not everyone but some specific people? Or in the world where… read more

Therapeutic Art

I have many talents, but I don't think art is one of them... or so I thought. The other day, I was feeling a little low. I picked up a blank canvas, some oil paints, and decided to let my emotions do the painting. No plan. No technique. Just brushstrokes and whatever came to mind. What emerged… read more

If you can sweep-pick better than me...

Teach me your ways! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Haha I have a "boxer break" on my pinky, so it's a struggle but I think my technique isn't TOO bad. I hope...haha hope y'all enjoy the riff!

Some Cool Findings

Without overwhelming you all with the details, basically there is a method to train a transformer model such that it identifies a specific task for a given input. This helps with interpretability and allows for the interesting ability to modify the latent space during inference time or… (edited) read more

Just another moment of the usual workout

Concentrate on the technique,, don't chase the numbers

Almost a new record!

I did my second-best time on the rowing machine today, with a focus on technique and power from especially my legs! I did use a bit too much energy right out the bat for some of the intervals the last was one of them, but I’m slowly becoming more enduring which also means I have more energy to… read more

Light Painting

My friends called me and said “we were going to try out a photography technique” and asked if I wanted to be the model I said yes, of course. That night, we created this, it was a first for both them and me. It wasn't perfect, but you could say it turned out really well There is no concept, they… read more

Pink just for today

I don't really like pink make-up and pink colour doesn't suit my skin-tone but I did wear it today because it was Galentines and Valentines Day! Took me ages for winged liner as usual since I don't practice it often enough but luckily I had time before my b/f got to mine, and lip-liner technique… (edited) read more

Reverse Gutwrench Training

So this is really niche, but I love the reverse gutwrench throw so much. It is not particularly useful in any combat sport other than Greco-Roman wrestling. However, it is a technique of pure elegance and domination when performed well.

Ad I Created for a Startup

Not the official ad, but something I whipped up to demonstrate my vision. It is all AI generated. I realized it all comes down to editing. I've seen a lot of AI generated ads that have very awkward cuts, and it breaks the immersion. Another technique I arrived at was to introduce a slight camera… read more

A lesson for today: ask yourself out on a date!

I think I found a place where I'll hang out a lot. It's a Chinese tea place, it's my third time here. This time I'm by myself. I find it really difficult, doing something when no one's around, validating no one but the person in the mirror, treating myself like someone I'm responsible for… (edited) read more

I found my real weight

I was a little concerned to train forearm flexors because I just trained grip 2d ago. But the first time I trained forearm flexors, I didn't find my limit. Finding my new limit is debatable because the technique you can see in the video has the element of the handle bar not rolling smoothly… read more

New smallsword technique i tried today

Soooooo.... I discovered a word that apparently nobody ever noticed was missing?

I had a feeling. And I couldn't quite place what that feeling was. Do I feel love? No... Do I like watching? Not that. What is it about it??? Well, it turns out I was thinking way too hard: I was experiencing the feeling that arrives when you finally notice something. The feeling that… read more

Kill the paste technique

In malay cooking we have this “Kill the paste”—the art of sautéing spices until they’re dry, fragrant, and beautifully caramelized before adding the meat. It takes patience, but that’s where the magic happens. The rawness disappears, the flavors deepen, and the dish develops its soul. ✨🍛

Animal stylist

My hair dressers technique is kinda odd, Chewing and licking to style my hair, but it's free. So it's a yes. 😆

Patience

In trading, one of the most important traits a trader must have is patience. We cannot simply enter the market just because we “feel like the setup might work.” A mature trader will: wait for a clear setup, follow the technique and trading plan being used, and only execute when a real opportunity… read more
