Did these earlier this week, really happy with how they turn out!

who else likes hiking and collecting rocks? Doesnt have to be both at the same time. By hiking I mean changes in elevation and 3+ miles long. Not just walking around on flat terrain (edited)

decades ago I got Chessmaster 10th edition. Went through all the tutorials. I now understand enough of the game to know why I'm terrible at it. I inherently want to move fast, not giving the enemy time to strike. But timing doesn't play in to chess as its turn based, not time based. Also in… read more

Hello there. I am learning how to draw, veeery slowly. This is my very first map. I only have 0.5 HB mechanical pencil and a random notebook to work with. I didn't make a scheme before starting to draw, and went with the wind. There are lots of issues I see, but it's the way to learn. I should… read more

One of my favorite projects. The platforms are made of kitchen scrub pads.

I made this board for gaming at my store and got to show it off at my local convention. Hope you like it!

Today, I cycled for about 21km and walked about 2km when I reached the Shelly Cove trail as it was too steep for me to successfully bike it. I also found the terrain a bit too treacherous for me to feel safe biking it. This makes this trip my longest trip so far. Was a wonderful trip; the weather… read more

I've tried finding answers. This is more a thought piece post, not a for sure kinda thing... Do people all look for for flat bellied, 6 pick carrying fitness fanatics? I offer a giggle, belly laughs, dry and dark humour. Love cats and dogs, gaming, ttrpg's, painting minis and printing terrain and cosplay things. Are there any like-minded ladies who fancy a cuppa?

Summer is fast approaching and my question is simple: where are you going? On my side, it's absolute nothingness. I have all of August free, a huge playground open to me, but no idea what I'm going to do with it. Hit me with your best plans, recommendations, or favorites to inspire me! 👇

3 dayer in Snowdonia (my English brain can’t comprehend Welsh). Late night hike, doing some night navigation with head torches and an OS Map (OL17), camped by a small lake after about 2 hours of hiking. Temp dropped overnight to about -2°C which wasn’t expected, steep climb through the boggy… read more

Sylvania Wilderness History Prior to being donated for wilderness protection, this area was spared from logging of the early 20th century. This wasn’t for altruistic reasons. The rugged terrain and countless water features (creeks, rivers, swamps, ponds and lakes both small & large) made it cost… (edited) read more

The Wrong Map: Why Good Intentions Sometimes Lead the Lost Astray There is a paradox in human nature, as fascinating as it is cruel: when someone confesses to being lost, those who try to rescue them often end up sinking them deeper into confusion. Me and my buddy are about to start making our own terrain for the first time! Anyone got suggestions on specific pieces we should make? Trenches, fortifications, etc?

Really enjoying just how 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 the flora, fauna, terrain, and weather is here in buffalo compared to what I was used to in Florida. It feels like a whole new world.
