Curious about pursuing either Zoology or Marine Biology for my bachelor degree 🤔

Hey! So I'm about to start working (during the season) for my local zoo and go to community college for my associates in Biology. I begin online classes in the fall which I am both excited and a little nervous to start this journey for my degree. I'm 28 years old so I'm a little late to the game plan and I'm worried about whether or not I will have as much support as the younger college students. I can only afford to go to school part time which may extend my bachelor degree to an 8 year college plan vs full-time 4 year college plan. I will be either 36 or 37 by the time I finish my degree and landing a job based on my degree could be taken up by younger college graduates.... Primarily I want to study and care for animal and aquatic life, most job listings are requiring at least a bachelor degree in a biology related field. So far I am curious to see if either zoology or marine biology is right for me, is anyone here currently working with wildlife and have a bachelor's degree in a similar field?
