Yeah literally was told I wasn't good enough because she made more money than me and she left me 3 days before Christmas....I have a good paying full time job...she was a 23 yo bartender π like of course yur gonna make more money it's not rocket science and a year of my life was wasted on false love

I got a coworker who's wife makes more than double his pay, and they are happy. Also, as some guys have vividly pointed out. It really depends on the guy, but it also depends on if the attitude of the woman changes for the worse or not. When my ex told me she makes more than me. I congratulated her, and told her I was happy for her success, and to work on paying everyone back including me.

It would be very uncomfortable for me. I am very adaptable so I'd adapt to it in time but I definitely wanna be able to take care of my woman not the other way around any man who isn't at least uncomfortable by the thought of they're woman providing more than you is a sad excuse of a man. Imo

Well, I'm in a gay marriage. So, I really can't say the "lady" in this situation. However, the point is you shouldn't feel that way. It's just a sign of fragile masculinity which is a Red Flag! I'm very proud that my husband makes more than me! He's amazing at what he does and I brag about him all the time! If your partner gets upset or jealous every time you better yourself or achieves something, then that's a toxic environment and you need to leave.

No absolutely not I like a powerful woman, she can do whatever she wants, I'm happy as long as we're not fighting. Life's too short for that. Rather be planning what we could be doing together or learning together or just doing nothing together. My worry would be, when this has happened to me in the past, my ex and I had to switch roles because I hurt my spine at work and after a while I felt her anger with that and yeah, long story short we're not together. This wasn't by far the only thing that broke us up, but, I think real question is, Ladies, is it ok is your man makes less than you? What is the worth of a man these days? Is it as a protector or more so a provider? Will you stay with him if he makes nothing for a while? It's definitely a divided subject

If she's making the money through working so hard that doesn't allow much family or date time, or causes stress and constantly puts her on edge, that's somewhat of an issue. If she's happy doing it, has time to enjoy us, and it doesn't change her personality. I'm all for it. Everybody has different opportunities given to them in life, she was given one and went for it. If it interferes with the relationship, then it just wasn't meant to be.
