The secret is you can say no and that doesn't mean you aren't kind. People make you feel like you're a bad person when you don't do what they ask. But you can gently kindly say no. Protect yourself from energy leeches and time vampires!

@keren Yes that's normal. It's hard to say no sometimes. But I feel like sometimes you have to. Or you may end up having to give up part of yourself to someone who doesn't even appreciate what they're asking.

Be good but not nice and always be ready to bare your teeth as a warning. If they push past that let them "F around and find out" so to speak.

That's why we put boundaries. Help random people in small matters but when it's a big one, it depends on their closeness to me.
