For context. I'm 28, i don't like to date people younger than 27 but when dating older people i have about an 8-10 year gap i feel i can work with before i start to feel uncomfortable, and the reason for this is after that they now run the risk of being uncomfortably close in age to my father who is 48 (so there's a 20 year gap between my father and i). I wonder how many people have a simillar issue and how they deal with it.

How do you feel about individuals who post pictures of their children in dating apps, especially as their main picture? I've been running into this today. No disrespect to anyone. I'm glad you love your children! Kids are great. They keep it simple. We should all learn to do the same. I think it's important to inform a potential partner that you have children. Is it kind of like sharing a picture of a beloved pet? Like look at this small human I love and care for that means the world to me? I don't think I could share images of my children that way. To each their own of course. Just keep your children safe.

Recently I have been dating someone who after the third date told me they aren't ready for a kiss. Normally I gauge when to get the first kiss based on how much fun you're having or just flat out ask. But normally it happens on the first and second date rarely on the 3rd. But it just feels like if it goes past the third date unless they're doing it for religious reasons then they just aren't that interested in you.
