When does the age gap become uncomfortable in dating?

Question

For context. I'm 28, i don't like to date people younger than 27 but when dating older people i have about an 8-10 year gap i feel i can work with before i start to feel uncomfortable, and the reason for this is after that they now run the risk of being uncomfortably close in age to my father who is 48 (so there's a 20 year gap between my father and i). I wonder how many people have a simillar issue and how they deal with it.

For me it's usually 6 years over and under, it think it's realistic. So if I'm 28 I'll date between 22 and 34 ☺️

A 20 year gap (exactly) is actually very good because it would pair you with one of the other two types from your Eastern trine (or set), which you can get every 4 years except in this case they are also born in the same elemental year as well. So for example if I'm born in a '79 earth 🐐 year. '99 is an earth 🐈 . Where the fourth Eastern set is made up of those two along with the 🐖. You can have this occur every 4 years except the element will not be the same as yours, where this can only occur every 20 years. This is why I always recommend that if people - particularly women - are going to have children then having one pop out when they are 20 years old is not a bad idea. However this can only occur again at 40, where most women will have trouble with gestation, though is probably more realistic for men at that age to conceive and of course is possible again for men at 60, though I have my own opinions about that (age).

This why our Yin or Yang pairing with one of the years next to us is also the same element as our own. So for example my '79 earth 🐐 year is paired with the '78 earth 🐎 year. The 🐎, 🐈 & 🐖 have no point loss with us 🐐.

I think it's very much depending on who you ask as it's all about personal preference, me personally my age range is between 19-28 (me being 24) however my ideal age range would be between 22-28 as I prefer women who are generally a bit more mature and grown up.

Some people may only want someone 1 it 2 years older-younger while others are happy to go 10-20 years....it's all depending on the person

Legal age up to my age.
I don't really do well with people above my age, and sometimes I struggle with my own age. I attribute this to having two older sisters, one a year and half and the other 5yrs, so I couldn't meet anyone older than me without them knowing one of them and that was terrible.
The oldest person I've dated was 3 months older than me, yet I've been able to go to 14yrs younger than me 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

At this point I could definitely meet people older than me that don't know my sisters, but I've simply gotten more comfortable with the younger people. At this point, people my age and older have different values and expectations of life. 
However, I will admit that part of it has to do with physical appearance. It's harder for me to "fall" for someone older looking. I can handle someone losing their "youthful" features, but it's much harder to start with the loss, than to journey towards it 😶‍🌫️

I've dated men a few years younger than me, and it hasn't been that bad. I never want to go too much younger than me though. I'm 37. Younger than 30 would be pushing it for me.

I did date a man 22 years older than me once. I got sick of him hitting on me over a year and decided to give in. We were together for 3 years. It was a horrible relationship. It wasn't the age gap that made it so horrible, but I don't think I will ever date anyone quite that much older than me again. Maybe 6-8 year's older, possibly 10, but not 22.
