11moWhat do you think happens?
Suppose you work paycheck to paycheck. One day you slip and break your back. You go to the hospital and can't walk. Do they send you out the door. Your rent is due, you can't pay, can't work. Homeless on the street, no work, no money, and can barely get around? If you could afford a wheel chair?

What? Try asking that question in a fashion that makes sense. Not enough context for one, we also dont know the specific parameters that help further solidify how to formulate a response to this. Thats some super specific situations though from what's stated, and it doesnt make sense given anyone who has basic comprehension and reasoning skills can usually learn to save and not live beyond their means in most scenarios where this is remotely relevant. The hospital bit makes no sense either. What country we talking? Narrow it down further what state? Different states have different rules in place for how hospitals react and handle such circumstances. So much lack of context. (edited)

I mean you live the life you want. I am not going to say who owes what to whom since it’s a issue that requires way more information than just living pay check by pay check, and you breaking your back. Sadly, no one owes you anything. They don’t, but depending on where you live and what you choose to do you can live a better life, with or without a broken back. You are solely responsible for your own future, no one else is.

That's just America. Free healthcare in Australia. If you've worked, you've got a retirement fund called superannuation which has disability insurance. You've also got a government disability pension and a disability fund.
