Representing Artists

Y'all know, seen, enjoyed and listened to many or atleast a few of artists or influencers of your liking, by this time in your lives. Now, I have seen many movies and enjoyed music made many of the fellow artists, who had made significant contributions to the development of culture and society around them,in some senses. A generation before me, there used to be circus shows and local skits, local dramas, live music shows we used to go down physically to, and enjoy in REAL life. Now,that's quite an experience this generation is missing due to the rise of streaming services. Are artists given, a fair share of acknowledgement by the society for their work? Now that's quite debatable. Many consider artists essential people, and love going to their shows and booking tickets with them. Now,there is ANOTHER set of people, who can't quite enjoy, these contributions of artists, and who considers their work as over rated time waste or as such. I gotta say, sometimes, seeing some artistic works, even I felt same way too about some of them. Y'all remember, many of people in YouTube easily using music of many of the major artists, with NO regards to the copyright owner, not even bothered about the OGs who made them and posting them as their own in YouTube, before the music artists started holding these people accountable and now they can't. Well, they were only bothered about Taking what others made, and never concerned about giving back. They wanted quick popularity and fame and never bothered about which person made this music or not. That's the real them. Now, they can't simply take, like they used to and that's telling you something. Isn't it? Y'all remember, movie actors asking people, some even begging them to stop downloading fake copies of their movies, they spend so much cash on. Nobody listened and bothered about what the movie actors or the movie directors said, except maybe a few people, who loved those actors, many simply downloaded these life's work of others, and distributed them around without ever paying anything. Now, that is all due to the lack of morality towards artists, and the lack of acknowledgement of the work of artists that many people simply could do it meant they just went for it.Did you ever thought about, what these actors went through and what you have paid for them? I would say, atleast have the decency to pay the cost and watch, instead of simply crawling over like a search engine and just mindlessly watching them. Does online community addressed the requirements of film makers, yes,to some extent they did by making available streaming services so that people can pay online. That meant, the EVER SO SMALL delay of artists to come online with their art, meant they missed out ALREADY and got their art simply posted by some other randoms instead. Now that artists are online, what does AI having an effect on their jobs. How does it feel,to take away, your life's engineering work and not get paid, nothing. How does it feel,to never be acknowledged, for what you have contributed in building a skyscraper but people just using it, without paying anything. Now,that's exactly what AI is, it's just crawling again, into the work of many artistic minds, and stitching them together into new arts, that are then claimed to be of a new art, when in reality, the original art was used in background in its making for reference. Does this type of AI, means content creators are already out of jobs, possibly.. What was the main agenda behind these AI software developments? Well, the agenda is still foggy and shady as its developers are, but the non acknowledgement of others work is well inside the agenda. Will it all backfire on the world, soon enough after AI becomes general AI and we become it's subjects with no opinions and no voices and no representation and no acknowledgement of our own with degraded culture due to lack of proper artists who are not getting paid but are again getting ripped off by certain personalities who can't enjoy the thrills and fun of life through some simple art forms and also the analytical minds who loves to rip off artists whenever possible..Well that's not so far into your future and not a pipe dream as well. If you are an artist,do you think, other artists are given a fair representation in online formats, and do you believe that your art is a sustainable job for yourself moving forward in a world of more ripping off mentality people with AI and logic based software assets or do you just quit your work, and start doing some other work, other casual people are doing, like we all saw,in 2020 during lockdown time. Did you believe in the power of your art during lockdown time or did you think art died during that time. Add your thoughts and feelings.

Well first of all Kudos to you for writing such a lengthy one. There are alot of things that you covered alot of things but, I'll focus one just a couple. No lockdown didn't affect my work at all. About the ai, it's still in beta phase, and we humans are currently the beta testers. Give or take next 10 to 15 years or so 50% of the working world population will be out of jobs, that's a given, coders, content creators, admin, music, list is endless but it will happen. We are bees in a bee hive, what happens when the hive doesn't need bees? That's why have a plan B and C. There's a saying, don't put all your eggs in one basket.
