Got my PC gaming start with a TRS-80 CoCo, the OG with 4k ram and 16 colors. Games today are fun but lack the personality of the early stuff. Heck I remember getting Rainbow magazine which held pages of code to type in your games and save on cassette tapes. Floppy drives were not available at that time. Press Record and Play buttons, type in CSAVE "gamename" and pray.
