Walk away, breathe, meditate, work out, go for an actual walk, enjoy the scenery and sky, have a soothing tea.. And last but not leasts, write things down and sleep. (Not necessarily, all at once 😅 - sometimes a soothing tea and some music or show/movie followed by sleep is all you need) (edited)

Journaling. It's helped me immensely. Most of my anger come from underlying anxiety so it helps to vent the thoughts on paper so I can digest if it's worth stressing over.

Depends on what I am angry about. Sometimes embracing the anger and imagining myself becoming a greater villain than the person who angered me helps. Sometimes I need to realize how unimportant the thing that made me angry is. Always good to blast some angry music though. It's like finding a sound that matches how you feel, and you can either burn out the anger or use similar sounds to lead yourself back to your comfort zone.

I very, very rarely get angry, but watching movies or TV shows usually helps me when I am. I’m not entirely sure why, but I think getting lost in a story helps my brain process the emotions I’m experiencing without relegating all that processing power to the front end where it runs the risk of actively affecting my current state of mind. I guess it’s like a computer downloading data or performing background tasks while you watch YouTube or play a game on your main monitor. I dunno, I’m probably not making too much sense but that’s at least been my tried and true method for about as long as I can remember.

If possible I playy drums. If jm at work or in a social setting, I think about not letting another person control my emotions and that I am in charge. Deep breaths help. I sperate myself from the situation and get myself back in order. If it continues then you make sure no one is around and you violate that person.

It's definitely a practice, for me I have to look objectively. Is me being mad actually helping anything or not. If I'm in a situation where I can't walk away then I let whoever is frustrating me know that I'm frustrated and for them to give me a little extra patience to think clearly, if you can walk away then walk away and practice being above those annoyances that can really set you off
