Walk away, breathe, meditate, work out, go for an actual walk, enjoy the scenery and sky, have a soothing tea.. And last but not leasts, write things down and sleep. (Not necessarily, all at once 😅 - sometimes a soothing tea and some music or show/movie followed by sleep is all you need) (edited)

Analyzing it helps me - what is behind the anger? Most often it's fear - fear of what? And if there is fear, there is an unmet need. Finding a way to meet that need should, by cascade logic, help with the anger.

Journaling. It's helped me immensely. Most of my anger come from underlying anxiety so it helps to vent the thoughts on paper so I can digest if it's worth stressing over.

Music playlist that fades from angry to carefree + stationary bike works pretty good for me. Also just leaving to a different room can trick your brain into thinking you went somewhere else so going into the yard to garden, kitchen for a drink, ect. Can help too.

Depends on what I am angry about. Sometimes embracing the anger and imagining myself becoming a greater villain than the person who angered me helps. Sometimes I need to realize how unimportant the thing that made me angry is. Always good to blast some angry music though. It's like finding a sound that matches how you feel, and you can either burn out the anger or use similar sounds to lead yourself back to your comfort zone.

I very, very rarely get angry, but watching movies or TV shows usually helps me when I am. I’m not entirely sure why, but I think getting lost in a story helps my brain process the emotions I’m experiencing without relegating all that processing power to the front end where it runs the risk of actively affecting my current state of mind. I guess it’s like a computer downloading data or performing background tasks while you watch YouTube or play a game on your main monitor. I dunno, I’m probably not making too much sense but that’s at least been my tried and true method for about as long as I can remember.

If possible I playy drums. If jm at work or in a social setting, I think about not letting another person control my emotions and that I am in charge. Deep breaths help. I sperate myself from the situation and get myself back in order. If it continues then you make sure no one is around and you violate that person.

I am used to just curse around walking back and forth once when I am alone. I won't say it to the person who made me angry because this deed comes out of emotions. If I am not alone, I can type all bad things about him to someone and when I am done just erase all I typed so far or send to someone, but make sure they didn't see it )

Of course everybody say that you should meditate or something similar. But as a man, I recommend you to talk about the things that are in you. I have anger issues due to my poor communication about my feelings. And when I talked about it with my loves ones, my anger disappears. Of course If you don't have this kind of problem, you should do exercises, or meditate etc.

Porch and shed before winter

It's not finished or perfect but I got a shed and second floor porch put up! Gotta put in a door upstairs, the remaining railings, and decorate/find caps to cover the imperfections and Polish alterations :)
