One time I fell off my skateboard and hit my head on concrete. I was super panicked over possibly having concussion or brain damage. First time in ambulance. Super stressed. Catastrophizing. Mom meets me at hospital. I tell her Alan Watts’ “Chinese Farmer Story”. I found peace in that hospital bed as I retold that story to my mom… She became convinced something was seriously wrong beings I was talking about Chinese farmers 😆
