Unique/new/underrated/overlooked horror?

So I'm a big fan of (post-80s) horror as the game the director is playing with me to try and scare me is what I find most fascinating about it :) I've watched a lot in recent years after scouring through endless Reddit threads. Thought I'd try here: what is your favorite horror movie or series that… (edited) read more

Materialistic vs shallow.

Why does every single Hollywood and Bollywood movie have the same two plots. Broke ugly guy likes a beautiful rich girl, she has to sacrifice everything for him while he does nothing to actually try and be financially stable. While on the contrary, when an ugly woman likes a guy, she has to have… read more

Theatre of Blood (1973)

The Abominable Dr. Phibes was my favourite Vincent Price movie, until I watched Theatre of Blood! Sure, the plots may be weirdly similar. Both are considered horror comedies that involve themed murders, but this time we get Vincent Price stretching his acting range to places never before seen! … (edited) read more

Concepts And Ideas

Sometimes narratives and plots can be created from someone's boredom and mischief✨

Night Teaches Me Nothing and I Go Anyway

The street is empty but somehow louder than my thoughts. Light pools on the asphalt like it’s trying to guide someone smarter than me. I walk anyway, half chasing peace, half running from the cat who definitely plots my murder. Night doesn’t judge. It just watches, quiet, patient, letting me… read more

Never the one who says nice things, but always the one who understands hurt. The world is habit. And so we are all foreign planets. To understand fully is to see a lifetime pass first. To The Devil... A Daughter (1976)

666 out of 1000 I was shocked to find that To The Devil A Daughter was not on any popular list of top Hammer Films. It's definitely on mine! It must be on Rob Zombie's too because he not only incorporated the title into the lyrics of White Zombie's "Black Sunshine", he also sampled audio from… (edited) read more

Most surreal anime you've watched?

Looking for the most surreal anime recommendations! Interesting plots with unexpected twists & fantasy elements would be very appreciated!

I imagined many scenarios, of how we will meet, created the plots and events, even feelings I must've felt But I don't want another story from mine, for I know it'll end as well, like how I wrote a poem, that met it's very last spell

YOU

The timing you came into my life is anachronism, Yet your existence makes me arrant. Your pace is truculent, I must admit. Mercilessly took down my high walls. It doesn't feel artless, Perhaps I am blinded by your cheekiness... Havoc, disastrous plots. Yet you sing me a pulchritudinous lullaby in… read more

Isekai

I can't be the only one who actually loves isekai, I get it that alot of the plots are the same but I just love to see how the creators invision their isekai story.

Seeking Horror that is actually scary

Been watching horror movies for a minute now and rarely find something actually scary. Good plots, good gore, sure. But really terrifying? Not finding it. Collaborative writing - Cyberpunk

Anyone interested in crafting a story, with characters, plots, action and every cyberpunk theme? I already have some bits and pieces of a plot, but I'd be happy creating anything new or collaborating with others in their stories. I have a great imagination. 😎

Other people when they don't like someone : Badmouthing, gossiping, insulting, asking for a backup, twisting plots and the whole story, hiding. And Scorpios when they don't like someone : Ignoring that person's existence.
