Once in a While

He is more stunned at the scenary than me who is a local here. Perhaps, it is because of those man-made Chinese decorations outside the buildings. He points at the red paper lanterns hung on the front door of some of the houses as if they were what he used to see from his hometown but were not what he is used to somehow. It seems to me that he attempts to have a small talk with the locals, but they speak neither his first nor second languages. What I can do for him is to drag him away, for I am afraid if time will be over before I complete spending time together with him. "Hurry!" I take his right hand, and we both walk across the stone bridge, under which the brook always flows to the left side of us. Of course, there are weeds growing by it. Although I do not know what they really are, it is likely that he has information on some of them. However, I do not ask him about them because he often gives me details and details! This wastes our time. His night is never my day, nor is his day my night. I need to take this opportunity for sure! Because... it is dreamy to have him with me at this moment!
