A slightly senior colleague is using AI to write a portion of our manuscript for publication. Idk how to act! It has the weird AI dashes — and I also used an AI detector and some sentences are fully AI. I’m thinking of paraphrasing/replacing the sentences that are clearly AI generated quietly.
Any suggestions on how you would deal with this situation? She’s super busy and English isn’t her first language and our deadline is approaching quickly. It’s only a couple of sentences, some are back to back. Most of it is human though. Thanks!
