What a load of crock!

Dabbling in crockery. First, it was a chicken thigh stew. This time around I tried oxtail and you best believe it sat for 18 hours. What do you put in your crockpot? Or rather, what do you put in your cauldron? 🎃

Ready for chilly weather and crock pot soups 🍁

Wild crock on the loose

Was on my way home yesterday and saw this wild crock on the loose. In down town delware. Still in sports mode.

Tortilla soup

I didn't make enough broth (for a second helping), so it's more like a stew I guess. Usually I use my crock pot, but didn't want to make a large amount since I end up throwing most of it away with no one to help me eat it 🥺

Pulled Pork Tonight

Pulled pork prepped last night & cooked in crock pot while I was at work. Nice to come home to a delicious smelling house & easy dinner!

Soup so easy a monkey could make it

Using a crock pot to cook hamburger helper, except the noodles taste bad. I tossed those out and replaced them with potatoes. 2 1/2 cups of water, the flavor packet and a package of sausage meat instead of plain ground meat. Toss em in for a couple hours so the potatos get soft. These last couple… read more

I forgot crock was a word

Wow I thought it was either clock or crook so I took the R from crook and the C from clock to see what hint I would get from the 2nd guess. Turns out I forgot crock was a possibility...

First Try Blueberry Pie

Woefully ill equipped but here it is! Before the oven. I don't have a food processor or blender so I used two forks and a knife to mix my cold butter in with my flour. I do have a rolling pin so that makes it a bit easier. Pans were a bit bigger than I wanted so the dough didn't quite fit and my… read more

Crockpot cooking 🤓

Any tips for egg noodles not getting mushy in the crockpot? I'm tryna make em with crab meat and bits of heirloom tomato 🍅 Update. The noodles are being cooked alone and are in a crock pot because I recently moved and it's the one thing that didn't get shoved into storage 😆 I've also never been… (edited) read more

Cosplay

I miss cosplaying. Ever since I gained weight and had my son I just don't have the confidence or the drive anymore and I feel like I'm too old to bother :/ I'm trying to regain my confidence and whatnot but my brain hates me and listening to my counselor is a crock. Anywho, I'm going to try and do… read more

First time cooking ribs myself. Beef short ribs in the crock pot and then glazed in the oven for a few minutes with Mac and cheese for the side along with green beans. Forgot to grab a picture of it plated.

What was the best show/concert you ever attended?

This one was hard to choose for me because there were so many absolute bangers. From The Black Dahlia Murder to Iron Maiden. The Best one for me though was in 2009. I just turned 18 and Amon Amarth was in town, they just released 'Twilight of the Thunder God' and I saw them in the basement of the… read more

Midnight Mass: A terrifying meditation on humanity, faith and the afterlife

Simply put, I can't stop thinking about Midnight Mass. The 7-episode limited series from Mike Flanagan—the horror impresario behind Netflix's Hill House and Bly Manor—isn't perfect, but it is a keenly affecting, beautifully acted reflection on death, faith, guilt, addiction, and the power of free… read more
