So I'm in a low place in my life and as a man we don't have too many options. Now I don't use that as a excuse but it made me think. Woman commonly say "if you can't handle me at my worst you dont deserve me at my best" but that doesn't work for men. We are expected to be at our best at all times. There are not shelters for men there isn't people out there trying to lower the climbing death rate of men (besides other men) we are just alone. Men don't even reach put including myself because in the end no one cares. The second you fall into a bad dark place it's like society just stomps on you and forgets your human. Sorry just a little rant got no where else to really just let thoughts out.

That's fine. Talking through it is much better than letting it sit. You've got a lot more heart than you realize being able to let these thoughts out in general. Society may have it out for the "weak" man, but there's nothing weak about your words. A lot of us get that, and it rings true that only dudes have other dudes backs. Yet somedays the chilvalry we share with each other doesn't engage us. That's what love between one and one's partner is supposed to fill in my eyes. There's only so much the boys can do to help each other. To have that rock, be understood and not treated as a child with a measly boo-boo but a grown man (perhaps unconventional) whose heart is still healing from this scar of our superimposed position. To still be accepted and cared for by that partner is the highest validation we could ever dream of. Yet most of us here are likely without that love and thus stuck in this kind of mindset. Tack that on with search for masculinity, solutions to our detriments and it gets pretty crazy with just how vast the mental damage can stack when you think about it. I digress though. If you can talk it out, that's leagues better than let it stir inside. Especially if letting it stir inside is all you've ever been doing since you were young. Breaking the cycle and all.
