You need to give more criteria here. Because are asking a global platform for an answer that is not univariate. Oh course, the law will set a lower bound for most states. This is not a universal world wide standard. So, we must no what country because, legally, and time beyond that lower bound is improper. Layered into that is a mess, do you mean between Gay men? Highly variable. And do you mean within the community or outside it? Heterosexual couples from the 2020 census shows an age gap of around 2 - 3 years. If that is their norm, they are likely to see a 7 year age gap as improper while inside the community, it could be normal. And we have to say could because that gap is influenced by a multiude or regional, state, county, and municipal norms that are also tied to population. Because homosexuality is a small percentage or the total population a subset of a small population may come to quite and informally adjust that standard over time relative to the population. Economics can affect how people look at age gaps. A rich guy having a trophy wite is a literal trope. An individual just getting by might raise more eyebrows. And gender. Western culture is more tolerant for age gaps between men than women. And, of course, religion. All of which are negotiated by individuals that results in an emergent standard. So... How do you mean this question?
