Right person hasn't come yet. And it's easy to find people to be with but to find right person in the mess generation is rare. I don't want to choose a partner carelessly, it's very easy if you want to. But marriage is a serious matter and not a game. It should be a once in a lifetime and forever

Words can be sweet, comforting, and easy to say, but real love shows itself in respect, care, and kindness. If someone claims to love but their behavior brings pain, disrespect, stay away

Sometimes I feel like if two people are on the same page and know what they want, waiting for years doesn’t always make sense. I’ve seen people date for a long time and still never move forward, while others date for a few months and are very intentional and it works out.
For me, it’s not really about how long you date, but about honesty, effort, and knowing where you’re going. If everything lines up, what are we actually waiting for?

Sometimes we are kept away from something because we will be given something better. Sometimes God delays something because God wants to give it at a much more beautiful time. No matter how well we plan something, if the time is not right, it will not happen and will not come.

I’ve been told by people who I turned down for this reason that it was a new one for them. I won’t date someone who shares a name with one of my sisters…or any family member, really. Does anyone else set this boundary?

I’ve been sober now for over 9 years. When I tell women this, they tend to get very nervous. They believe that they won’t be able to drink around me, even when I tell them that I don’t mind. Then, they disappear on me. I suppose that their apprehensions are fair to a certain extent when they don’t know what I was like when I drank. It’s really not a problem for me, though, if my partner isn’t sober. I don’t want to keep that part of me a secret, either, which leaves me at a crossroads. Do non-sober people just not want to date sober people?

Is sobriety a dealbreaker?
