I know you will likely hate this response and as a rule all misandrists will despise me which is fine, I don’t want to date them :P I date exclusively between 28-37 nothing below or above that age range based on experience anyone younger than 28 is usually so self centred it will fail and anyone above 37 is usually so bitter you can’t even begin. It is funny you mention it though because this choice doesn’t have anything to do with my own emotional maturity (which is irrelevant to answer the question you’re really asking here), but everything to do with my experience, her fertility, her emotional maturity and the potential/possibility to build a lasting monogamous relationship that might last until we don’t.

I tend to look for someone between 10 years younger and 5 years older. Prefer women younger than me as they tend to be more willing to live life spontaneously and match my energy. Women older than me have always tried to play the mother role with me and tend to have horse blinders on allowing them to only see individuals through a lens of their past failed relationships. In my experience, age is generally a very weak contributor to maturity. Some people can go through a wild array of experiences in a few years and either break down, shut their emotions off or learn to deal with them. Meanwhile, others do the same routine every day and die at 85 with the emotional range of a potato. Obviously age contributes through the amount of time you had to develop, but if you don't make use of the years, they are just gone. (edited)
