People often speak about beauty standards in backhanded ways. It's never just stating "Looking for a taller guy". It's "I'm 5'3, you need to be 6"0+, sorry, not sorry." It's just pretentious and goes against a man's logical brain, that anything above 5'3 is taller than you, so why does he need to be 6 ft? Also, women are a lot more picky and superficial than men, even if more nuanced. As they require things about a man, that the men themselves, can rarely control: height, member size, type of hair, etc. These things come off as insulting to be disregarded without even having a chance. Whereas, most, men will at least talk to most women, and their only prerequisite is for a woman to not be obese, which is generally a very controllable thing. So it's a being rejected superficially, ie; being inherently undesired vs. being rejected after finding a general incompatibly. (edited)

I am not defensive, i learned that i do not meet the requirements bestowed upon me by women, i told mom and dad im not attractive enuf for the women.
