Time for random honesty-

So I'm very much the type of guy to stay silent and observe, very reserved and selective with my words. But,crhecpsst few years have been interesting and I discovered I like to sing. Now I know that ain't ground breaking but I never thought about it. Just the feeling I get when I do it makes me want to pursue a career in music. It was my dream as a kid to be a rockstar. I'd love to be a singer/guitarist for a band or even get into dubstep. Buuuut I don't know how to play instruments or make music 😂

Might be difficult to find a video to start with as a beginner, but once you've got the basics, he's got some good exercises that can help propel you over the hump. Warning: he spends some time in his videos talking about his Patreon or buying his guitar lessons, so you can probably skip over those parts. For singing, i feel like once you discover how to control your breath and properly use your diaphragm, you can pretty much learn on your own. A vocal coach or choir teacher can be helpful for critical advice, but not completely necessary. If you're shy like me, you can create a playlist full of songs you know the lyrics to and sing them whenever you drive somewhere (although you live in New York; now sure how much of a thing driving is over there).
