The best advice I ever got about dating, came from my father when I was in highschool: He said "Confidance is the to all human interaction, and the best way to gain it, is to understand that the person you are talking to, generally wants the exact same things you do, but also lacks the confidance to make the first move. When it comes to girls, they are looking for the same things you are, maybe even more then you are. You want to get laid, they want to get laid, just start the conversation and don't act like an idiot, and you both might just get what you wanted. The same applies to everything in life: want a job, the interviewer wants to hire someone. Want to buy a car, the salesperson wants to sell. Just knowing that the other person wants to do the same thing as much as you do takes the entire edge off." I swear my father is an unrecognized genius.
