I prefer the woman ask me out or in some clear way show that she is interested in me. I have asked very few women out and when I do, I get rejected. When I have been asked out AND single, I have said yes. If I was not single I said no. The exceptions were in high school when I was in love with someone who turned out to be not interested in me and another friend asked me out. I told her that I cared for her but I was already in love with this other person and that she didn't deserve me leading her on when I was interested in someone else. The other exception was at a bar when I was in a bad depression and with family. Older woman asked me if I was interested in her, I said not really. She went ballistic that I turned her down, which I later found out was because she made a bet with someone in her friend group that she could get any man in the bar that she wanted.

Only 2 girls have ever asked me out. 1 ghosted me but I fell deeply for 1. 99% of every girl I've ever asked out has rejected me and not even in a kind respectful way kve had so many make faces then make fun of me I can actually count the amount of Times I've been rejected respectfully. I've no preference. I've had girls ask me out and why should that throw me? Perhaps the lady in question sees something in me that I do not. In that case it's always good to find out!
