This may just be me but I never liked the idea of dating apps. People don't know how to create genuine connections because they're too busy and overwhelmed with the amount of options. For women too it just seems like you're putting yourself on auction for people. And everything else abut them grosses me out too.

In fact, the purpose of these applications is to easily find someone for a relationship and to make dating easier. However, due to the developers' greed for money and some self-interested people's bad intentions towards the other party, these applications are moving in a very different direction than their original purpose. This is why the situations you mentioned occur. I think I am the only one who can solve this problem (as a developer).

I don't think the issue is the app itself. I think the issue is people aren't engaging with it the right way. I've been sending 💙 almost non-stop. Not even for dating. Internationally. People in Finland, Germany, France, Netherlands. I've literally gotten zero back. People aren't just on here for dating, they're apparently here to make friends too, and yet no-one seems to respond? The interests sections should utilized to their full extent, and people are less inclined to care about how you look or what your physical characteristics are if you have a lot in common with them. I think a great majority of people are going to consider that physical appearance isn't everything and nature, and genetics aren't exactly fair to everyone. But one thing we do have control over is what we like and what brings us together.

I totally get where you're coming from, and I feel the same way! There are definitely ups and downs with dating apps, but at least here you can show who you are first. Sure, people can stretch the truth, but that can only last so long. These apps do help filter out the awkward dates you’d rather avoid.
