I been trying the dating game for awhile now and all i get is ignored, insulting pms on other dating sites (one girl in resp to my well thought of messege "um ha ha ...no") Now I try to treat everyone with respect and would be loyal and there for any potential partner but it seems like I was born with the ugly barrier so no one ever gives me the chance at bat. Am I really that unattractive?

Sometimes people on sites can be really mean. I've gotten my share of virtual laughs in my face. It can really depend on the type of people you reach out to and the definitely the site. 🙁 Sorry you've experienced this. For ladies on dating sites, there can be hundreds and hundreds of messages all at once, and many are from people who seem abusive or scary. So sometimes there's a lot going on and it feels impossible to even get to all these messages. After a while you can get a little hyper vigilant and guarded and even jaded expecting the next really rude or insensitive person trying to persuade you about why you should let them into your life or just into your bed 🙁 When I'm actively looking for a potential match on a dating site, I try to put on my customer service hat and reply to everyone I can even if it's just to say I appreciate the outreach. (I'll even try to review their profile and share a compliment it a specific reason why we might not be a good match but that I think they'll make someone happy.) It's very time consuming though and feels like it doesn't end, so I can understand why not everyone has time or patience for this. The profiles that have been most attractive to me haven't been based on physical appearance so much. They've been ones where the person looks genuinely happy in their lives, exploring/interacting with their world, and being their best selves. That's when I'm the back of my head I might feel like, 'Hey that looks like it would be fun to share my life with that person... What else are they interested in? Do we have stuff in common that might make us work?' I know not everyone might look for that stuff. Some people only go by appearance. I learned though that others experience attraction in different ways. You're not ugly, so don't dwell on it. Dwelling on it will only cement it as an insecurity in the back of your head, and it'll eat away at you with every potential romantic interaction. We're all made to look different, and there can beauty in everything and everyone. Sending positive thoughts. Hang in there.

I think lot of people get off to shitting on certain dudes that they end up receiving some unusual high from it all. I'm not really sure dudes do this often as women but I seen it happen sometimes on here.
