I’m navigating avatars, calibrated patterns, An algorithm promises love in neat captions. I’m swiping through biographies, curated attractions, While my optimism battles accumulated distractions. I craft an opening message witty but casual, Delete it, rewrite it, overthink the grammatical. Is confidence measurable? Is mystery practical? I’m balancing sincerity with something more tactical. The photos show adventures, filtered saturation, Cliff edges, weddings, borrowed celebration. I’m decoding intentions through pixel translation, Trying to feel chemistry in pre-conversation. Some matches bloom briefly, then drift into silence, A mutual ghosting framed as polite non-violence. I scroll past the maybes, the chaos, the science, Still hoping the numbers give way to reliance. So I stay on the interface, cautiously brave, Past the fear of rejection I pretend not to save. If love is a maze built from data and chance, I’ll keep walking forward one careful tap, one glance.
